Phillip Barton serves on the board for the Rocky Mount Rotary Club. In addition to volunteering for Rotary fundraising events and serving on committees as needed, he created and manages the websites for both the Rocky Mount Rotary Club and Tackle the Tar. Phillip has served as the senior pastor at Dortches Baptist Church since 2010, where he also manages the church’s website, social media, and YouTube channel.

Kristen Brabble is proud to be a board member of the Rocky Mount Rotary Club. She is the Corporate Officer & Director of Retail Banking at First Carolina Bank. Currently, Kristen is serving as a Board Director, Chair of Small Business Committee and is a member of the Event Committee for the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she serves as a loan executive of the United Way Tar River Region and is a member of both the Junior Guild of Rocky Mount and Rocky Mount Area Jaycees. She also serves as a Board Director for the North Carolina Bankers Young Bankers Board.

Lyn Brown is a lifelong resident of Rocky Mount and is employed with Providence Bank as Vice President/IT Officer and assists with marketing and account development for the bank. She currently serves as a Board member of the Rocky Mount Rotary, is Secretary of the Foundation Board of Nash Community College, is a member of Rocky Mount Business Builders, Women’s Professional Networking Group, past Membership Chair of the Rocky Mount Chamber of Commerce, and sustaining member of the Rocky Mount Junior Guild. She invites all of her friends and colleagues to come out and support Rotary’s efforts to raise educational funds to support our local youth. Lyn is serving as Co-Chair of Tackle the Tar Fundraising Committee, member of Race and Marketing Committees!

Tiffany Delano is proud to be on the Tackle the Tar Race Committee and help bring the first obstacle course race to this area. She is a Database Analyst/Programmer at Domtar, Inc. in Raleigh and is Six Sigma Black Belt. Tiffany runs obstacle course races herself, including Spartan, The Zombie Escape, and Dirty Girl. She also enjoys long distance running and Crossfit. In addition; she is currently pursuing her MBA at North Greenville University, serves on the Fundraising Committee for the Junior Guild of Rocky Mount and is a member of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.

Ron Green is the Past President of the Rocky Mount Rotary Club. Currently he is the Chief Executive Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of Nash/Edgecombe Counties. Ron also serves on the Board of Visitors for North Carolina Wesleyan College. He is the current Polemarch for the Rocky Mount Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi. In addition Ron is a former collegiate and professional athlete. He began his professional baseball career in the Chicago Cubs organization. Ron has the most exciting job on the Tackle The Tar Committee…Entertainment and Food Truck Rodeo Committee Chair.

Garry Hodges is a professional photographer in Rocky Mount. He has taken photographs at almost 2,000 weddings, as well as many events, commercial, and business photos in the local community. Garry also combines his passion of being a pilot for 40 years with photography to take aerial photographs for many businesses. His plane is based at the Rock Mount-Wilson airport. Garry also has a strong background in computers, retiring from the industry after 38 years before pursing photography. He is currently serving on all Tackle the Tar committees!
